General¶
Which server should I play on?¶
- idk - If you want vanilla-ish Minecraft with helpful mods (no client mods needed!)
- Pixelmon - If you love Pokémon
- A Quiet Place - If you want a scary challenge
- Zombie Invade - If you want to survive a zombie apocalypse
Can I play on my iPad/Xbox/Switch?¶
Only the idk server supports Bedrock Edition. The modpack servers require Java Edition on a computer.
How do I protect my stuff?¶
On the idk server, use FLAN to claim your land. Get a golden hoe and right-click two corners to claim an area.
Gameplay¶
I died! Where's my stuff?¶
On idk, your items appear in a gravestone at your death location. Find it on the map if you're lost!
How do I chop a whole tree at once?¶
On idk, the FallingTree mod lets you chop the bottom log and the whole tree falls. Hold sneak if you want to chop normally.
Can I see recipes in-game?¶
On idk, press R while hovering over an item to see its recipe (JEI mod).
Why can't I sleep?¶
On idk, not everyone needs to sleep! The SleepPoll mod starts a vote when someone sleeps. Click the chat message to vote.
Technical¶
The server is laggy¶
The servers run in Australia. If you're far away, you might have higher ping. Try:
- Lowering render distance
- Turning off fancy graphics
I can't connect¶
- Check you're using the right address
- Make sure you're on the right Minecraft version
- For modpack servers, make sure you have the mods installed
- Ask Dad for help
How do I install mods for the modpack servers?¶
Use Prism Launcher - it's the best way to manage Minecraft modpacks:
- Download Prism Launcher
- Click Add Instance → Modrinth tab
- Search for the modpack name
- Install and launch!
